"A tradition unlike any other -- the FLOG in Canaan Valley"

 Welcome to FLOG 15 Headquarters!

FLOG 14 was a wonderful weekend of inducting 8 players to the FLOG family.  These new players are Tim Nelson, Dan Hill, Tom Stout, Dan Langdon, Wayne Kiger, Rich King, David Smith and Gary Murdock.  The weather was perfect, the Friday and Saturday night dinners were delicious, and a great time was enjoyed by all.  FLOG 14 included some variations for the 4-man scramble, and the Friday afternoon SKINS game was simply a lot of fun, as 8 golfers recorded the best score on 8 different holes during the round, and thereby earning a $22 SKIN.  Checkout all the details on the HISTORY page.

FLOG 15 will be played June 12-14, 2020, at the challenging Canaan Valley State Park Golf Course, located in Canaan Valley, the most scenic place in all of West Virginia.  FLOG 15 will consist of 4 rounds of golf, including the popular 2-man scramble and 4-man scramble rounds.  The fun begins on Friday, June 12, at 1:00 PM.

The FLOG was founded by Don Oliver and Dennis Nelson in 2006.  They played one round of golf on a beautiful October afternoon, returned to Don's vacation home in Timberline, watched college football,  enjoyed all-you-can-eat barbeque ribs at Timberline Ski Resort, and returned to Morgantown refreshed and ready to face a busy week.  The following year, they invited  Terry Fleming and Wayne O'Shell to join them.  Everyone had a grand time, and wanted other golfing friends to join them the next year.  And so The FLOG was born, and grew to where it is today.  Our plan this year is to have 20 golfers who love and enjoy the game with a passion to gather in Canaan Valley to play in FLOG 15.

The FLOG 15 Registration Fee is $280.  This is an absolute unheard-of bargain when you consider all that the fee includes:

          * 4 Rounds of golf with cart at one of West Virginia's top rated courses

          * 3 nights lodging in a Timberline Resort chalet

          * 2 buffet dinners (Friday night and Saturday night)

          * 1 Sunday Awards Luncheon

          * Blessings and good fellowship with men who love golf like you do!

In the event a player has an emergency and needs to withdraw for a round or perhaps the entire tournament, at the last moment, the tournament planning committee will determine how to accomodate the absent player and will make every effort to add a player to the event if necessary.
